What we
Thinking: What are we doing? Everything we do is wrong. everything I do is wrong. If you oppose something in which you live you simultaneously support that which you oppose. How hard that is. No matter what you destroy part of yourself in an attempt to destroy what it is which you have contempt for. No matter how hard you try to believe and strive to do what it is you believe, you live in a way that prevents you from really doing anything close to what rends you seek, or even what path you wish to take. when you're surrounded by everything you oppose you find yourself giving in a little, letting go just a little of what makes you believe, letting go of where you see yourself in the blurry ideal that is tomorrow. If you do not posses a soul, does that limit your ability to give it away, to degrade it, to believe that it isn't real or that it's something we have made up to justify the repression of the self through the oppression of others, of every other? What is it that we do? Why is it that we do? Do we really believe there is no escape? NO, no way. We know, but we also don't want to admit that we would have to change beyond everything we are in this instant, we'd have to actually live how we know we should live, how we live should be how we feel when we feel more at peace, most alive, most aware. But the noise of living drowns out that beautiful undefinable sound of life, life which dwells within us but is never really, truly, able to come to the surface of our existence and help ourselves flourish beyond the barriers we have constructed between the person we are and the self that lies within, smiling, laughing, and wondering when it can have its day, when it can have its way until our breath ceases and after we have made every moment worthy of being called a life. What are we doing?
